Roundy Round Rug

Size: 33" without fringe
Materials:
Rug yarn...
6 skeins black
3 skeins light yellow
3 skeins red
3 skeins turquoise
2 skeins lilac
2 skeins dark rose
3 skeins bronze gold
4 skeins dark green

Aluminun crochet hook size J
Note: Rug is worked using a double strand of yarn throughout

1st round:
With dark green, ch 3, 8 sc in 3rd st from hook, join in 1st sc.
2nd and 3rd rounds:
Ch 1, 2 sc in each sc, join each round (32 sc )
4th round:
Ch 1, 1 sc in each sc, cut green.
Always start each round in a different place so no joining shows on rug. Cut yarn after joining each round.
5th round:
With black, increase in every other st.
6th round:
With light yellow, work even.
7th round:
With black, increase in every 6 th st
8th round:
With dark green, increase in every 7th st.
9th round:
With red, increase in every 4th st.
10th round:
With dark rose, work even.
11th round:
With red, increase in every 4th st.
Next 5 rounds:
Work even...working 1 round black ; 1 round turquoise ; 1 round black ; 1 round turquoise ; 1 round light yellow.
17th round:
With lilac, increase in every 10 st.
18th round:
With black, increase in every 10 st.
19th round:
With bronze gold, work even.
20th round:
With dark green, increase in every 6 th st, then work 1 round even.
******Next rounds:
Work 1 round in same manner in each of the following colors....INCREASING as necessary to keep work flat...., colors in following order:
black, light yellow, black, dark green, red, dark rose, red, black, turquoise, black, turquoise, light yellow, lilac, black, bronze gold, dark green.

Fringe:
For each series of 3 strands, wind over a 5 inch cardboard, cut one end.
Using 3 strands for each fringe, double in half and knot through each sc around entire rug...arranging colors as desired...
