2nd. rnd:

Ch 1, sc in same sp, 2 sc in next sc, * 1 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat from * all around, join in 1st sc.

3rd. rnd:

Ch 3, 4 dc in same sp, sl loop off hook, insert in 3rd st of ch, pull loop through, * ch 3, sk 3 sc, sc in next sc, ch 3, sc in next sc, ch 3, sk 3 sc, popcorn st in next sc ( popsorn stitch: 5 dc in same space, sl loop off hook, insert in first dc, pull loop through ), repeat from * 4 times, ch 3, skip 3 sc, sc in next sc, ch 3, sc in next sc, ch 3, join in first popcorn st.

4 th rnd:

*Ch 3, sl st in same st for picot, ch 4, skip 1 loop, popcorn st in next loop, ch 3, sl st in top of next of popcorn st for picot, ch 4, sk 1 loop, sl st in top of next popcorn st, repeat from * all around ending to correspond, join, do not cut thread, sl st in next picot, ch 150 for cord, sl st in same sp, cut thread.

Work 32 sc over ring,..join

2nd. rnd: Color 1

Ch 8, dc in same sp, * ch 3, sk 3 sc, sc in next sc, ch 3, sk 3 sc, 1 dc, ch 5, 1 dc in next sc, repeat from * twice, ch 3, sk 3 sc, sc in next sc, ch 3, sk 3 sc, join in 3rd st of ch..., cut thread

3rd. rnd: Color 2

Sl st to the ch 5 loop, ch 3, 3 dc, ch 3, 4 dc in same sp, * sc in next loop, ch 3, sc in next loop, 4 dc, ch 3, 4 dc (shell) in next loop, repeat from * twice, sc in next loop, ch 3, sc in next loop, join in 3rd st of ch, cut thread.

4th rnd: Color 1

Attach color 1 in loop of any shell, ch 1, 3 sc, ch 3, 3 sc in same space, * ch 4, 2 sc, ch 3, 2 sc in next loop, ch 4, 3 sc, ch 3, 3 sc in loop of next shell, repeat from * twice, ch 4, 2 sc, ch 3, 2 sc in next loop, ch 4, join in 1st sc, sl st to next ch 3 loop, ch about 150 for cord, join in same space, cut thread.

Steel crochet hook No. 7

Kapok or stuffing

Ch 16, sc in 2nd st from hook, 1 sc in each remaining st of ch, ch 1, turn

2nd row:

Work 1 sc in each sc, ch 1, turn..

3rd row:

Working in sc, decrease 1 st at the beginning and end of each row, ( to decrease: * insert hook in next st, pull loop through, repeat from * once, thread over and work off all loops at one time ), Repeat last 2 rows until 3 sts remain.

14th row:

1 sc in each sc, ch 1, turn

15th row:

Sk 1 st, decrease in next 2 sts, ch 150 for cord, join in smae sp, cut thread.

Work another section in same manner, cut thread at end of 15th row, do not chain 150. Sew the two sections together, filling slightly with kapok.

Cotton crochet thread... 2 colors

Steel crochet hook No. 7

1/2" bone ring

With color 1,...work 36 sc over ring, join, cut thread.

2nd. rnd.:..Color 2

Attach color 2 in same sp, ch 4, 2 trc in same sp keeping last loop of each st on hook, thread over and work off all loops at one time, * ch 5, skip 2 sc,cluster st in next sc ( cluster st: 3 trc in same sp keeping last loop if each trc on hook, thread over and work off all loops at one time), repeat from * 10 times, ch 5, join in 1st trc, cut thread.

3rd rnd:

Attach color 1 in any ch 5 loop, 3 sc, ch 3, 3 sc in same sp, * 3 sc, ch 3, 3 sc in next loop, repeat from * all around, join, do not cut thread, ch 150 for cord, sl st in same space, cut thread.
